YOUnique Team

Amelia
I am the Founder and Director of YOUnique Support & Coordination Services, a values-driven organisation built on compassion, empowerment, and genuine person-centred care.
I created YOUnique with a clear vision — to provide supports that are not only professional and reliable, but deeply respectful of each individual’s unique journey. I truly believe that no two people are the same, and their supports should reflect that. I have always loved learning and studying, and I’m constantly looking for ways to expand my knowledge so I can better support the people I work with. I am particularly passionate about Autism and Psychosocial Disability, and I am deeply committed to understanding the complexities that can come with both. I don’t shy away from challenges — in fact, complex situations motivate me. When things feel difficult or overwhelming, I become even more determined to find practical, meaningful solutions that create stability and positive change. Kindness, equality, and acceptance are values that guide everything I do. It is incredibly important to me that every person feels safe, respected, and valued for exactly who they are. I believe everyone deserves a genuine sense of belonging, hope, and motivation as they move toward the life they want to live. Outside of my professional life, I have a big love for all animals — they hold a very special place in my heart. My compassion for people and animals alike reflects the way I approach my work: with empathy, patience, and care. Through YOUnique, my goal is to walk alongside participants and their families as they navigate the NDIS, helping to bring clarity, confidence, and direction. I am committed to building strong support teams, advocating when needed, and ensuring that every person I support feels empowered and capable.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: with the right support, understanding, and encouragement, everyone has the ability to thrive.

Silvia
I’m Silvia — your friendly Italian “pocket rocket”! While I’m full of energy and have a bubbly personality, I can also be calm, gentle, and grounding when it matters most. I genuinely love connecting with people and building meaningful relationships from our very first meeting.
One of the things I enjoy most about my role is that no two days are ever the same. Every participant I support teaches me something new — about themselves, about resilience, and about life. There is always something to learn, and I feel grateful to grow alongside the people I work with.
I have a natural ability to help people feel comfortable and at ease, regardless of their background, culture, or values. I truly believe that authenticity, trust, and kindness are the foundation of any strong relationship. I wear my heart on my sleeve and pride myself on being genuine, compassionate, and trustworthy.
I support my clients with passion — through empathy, understanding, and high-quality care. I want every person I work with to feel heard, respected, and never alone. Especially on the “rainy days,” I am there to provide reassurance, advocacy, and steady support.
My passion for supporting others is deeply personal. As a young teenager, I experienced bullying, which shaped who I am today. It taught me the importance of standing beside those who feel vulnerable or unheard. I am not shy about following my instincts and emotions when it comes to advocating for my clients and ensuring they feel safe, valued, and cared for.
Outside of work, I love being outdoors and enjoying nature and fresh air. I treasure time spent with my loved ones and my pets, reading a good book, watching a fun movie, and admiring the beautiful local flora and fauna around us. I adore all animals — and if you have a dog (or two… or three!), I will absolutely become their best friend.
I can also be a little goofy! I laugh at myself often and can definitely take a joke. Being Italian means I express myself with passion — and yes, I talk with my hands a lot! 😆
Above all, I am caring, loving, and deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the people I support.
